Our Buena Park cosmetic dentist at Buena Park Smile Dentistry is equipped, trained and experienced to provide a full range of cosmetic, general, restorative and pediatric dental services to the whole family. Serving the residents of Buena Park and surrounding communities for over 20 years, our doctors and entire staff believe that caring, committed and compassionate dental care in a stress-free environment is the way each patient deserves to be treated.
One of the most often requested services that Buena Park cosmetic dentist provides is teeth whitening. When teeth get dull, discolored or stained due to aging or years of eating and drinking certain foods our doctor can bring those teeth back to white again. Teeth whitening can be done either in our office or by patients in the convenience of their own homes. Many of our patients opt for the at-home whitening avoiding the need for coming to the office for each treatment. For the at-home treatment our doctor will first clean the patient’s teeth and then make an impression of the teeth that will be used to fabricate a set of custom trays. The trays are used to hold a special professional strength beaching solution snugly against the teeth. The custom measured trays and professional strength bleaching solution make our at-home whitening treatment much more effective than those one-size fits all bleaching kits or strips available at drugstores. Our patients use the trays for about two hours a day for two or three weeks depending in the degree of discoloration present. After the treatment the patient’s teeth will be several shades whiter.
Our Buena Park cosmetic dentist can also use a dental veneer to whiten teeth. A veneer is a thin sheet of a porcelain material that is put over the front of the teeth. The veneer can change the color of the tooth to rid it of any stains or discoloration and blend the tooth in with those next to it. A row of veneers can be used whiten all the front teeth. Veneers are also used to protect a tooth that has small cracks, or chips or to help the appearance of teeth that may be smaller then the rest. Make an appointment with our office and come see what our doctors can do for your smile.
